This April, the abstract landscape paintings of Maine-based artist David Estey will be part of a new group exhibition at the Fridman Gallery in New York City. Titled “Radiant Daybreak,” this show brings together five contemporary artists from across the U.S. who find inspiration in the natural world and convey it through vivid color and bold forms.
Estey’s contributions include his signature luminous canvases evoking the rugged beauty of the midcoast Maine environment he inhabits. Works like “Tidepool at Dawn” and “Forest Ablaze” encapsulate his unique ability to capture the radiance and energy of the natural landscapes around him in abstract terms.
As an emerging talent originally hailing from small town Maine, Estey is thrilled for the opportunity to share his art in one of the world’s premier cultural hubs. Exhibiting alongside more established creatives allows him to reach major new audiences and share his creative point of view.
Be sure to check out David Estey’s dazzling nature-inspired paintings at Fridman Gallery’s “Radiant Daybreak” exhibit, which runs from April 5th through the 29th. This show serves as an exciting next step for an up-and-coming artist from Maine.
