On Saturday, July 29th at 4pm, Left Bank Books in Belfast will host renowned thriller writer Tess Gerritsen for a reading and signing event. Gerritsen, author of the popular Rizzoli & Isles novels, will read from her latest release I Know Your Secret before taking questions from the audience.
Originally from San Francisco, Gerritsen found her calling as a writer after earning her medical degree. She first gained notoriety for her chilling medical thrillers before introducing detective Jane Rizzoli in The Surgeon in 2001. The Rizzoli & Isles series cemented her reputation in the genre.
According to bookstore owner Annie Paige, Left Bank Books is excited to host the bestselling author. “Suspense fans look forward to every new book by Gerritsen,” said Paige. “Her intricate plots and strong female protagonists keep readers on edge.”
Published earlier this year, I Know Your Secret marks Gerritsen’s return to stand-alone medical thrillers. Following the reading, Gerritsen will answer audience questions, providing insight into her writing process and inspiration.
