This August, the acclaimed Deer Isle Jazz Festival celebrates its 22nd anniversary with four days of phenomenal live music along the picturesque Maine coast. This year’s lineup features top jazz performers from across genres, coming together to make magic against the stunning backdrop of Deer Isle and Stonington.
From intimate club shows to large outdoor concerts, audiences can soak in versatile jazz stylings ranging from New Orleans brass bands to contemporary vocalists. Highlights include the Andy Farber Big Band presenting an upbeat swinging set and rising star vocalist Lulu Fall performing her sophisticated, soulful arrangements.
In addition to spotlighting stars, the festival offers mentoring programs supporting student musicians from Maine and beyond. Workshops and jam sessions allow young talent to learn from jazz greats.
